On July, 24, 2009 the romantic comedy film, The Ugly Truth, starring Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl, is released in North America.

A romantically challenged producer of a TV morning show (Katherine Heigl), who searches for a Mr. Perfect (and thus still being single), readily agrees to participate in a series of outrageous experiments by a hardcore TV personality, who was employed by her boss, male chauvinist correspondent Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler).

He has to prove his theories on relationships between a man and a woman and help her to find love. Surely, his approach works and lead to the result that can be expected: they both fall in love with each other in the end of the film.
