On October 23, 2009 the sixth installment in the Saw film series, Saw VI, starring Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Shawnee Smith, Tanedra Howard, is released in the United States theatres. Saw VI was written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton and directed by Kevin Greutert. Shooting of the film began on March 30, 2009.

Agent Peter Strahm is death and Lieutenant Mark Hoffman continues the Jigsaw’s work. The FBI is reportedly on Hoffman’s trail. This forces him to set up another game. Jigsaw’s overall scheme will also be finally understood.

Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.
