On January 22, 2010 an apocalyptic fantasy film, Legion, starring Paul Bettany, Tyrese Gibson, Dennis Quaid, Lucas Black, Charles S. Dutton, is released in United States. Legion is directed by Scott Stewart, written by Scott Stewart, Peter Schink, and produced by David Lancaster, Michel Litvak. The movie is distributed by Screen Gems.

After God loses his faith in humanity, the archangel Michael (Paul Bettany) is the only person who stands between mankind and the apocalypse. God’s wrath descends on Earth in a form of angels to exterminate the world’s population.

In a desperate, last-chance battle, Michael leads a group of strangers in an out-of-the-way eatery who become the first line of defense when God, believing the human race is no longer worthy of Him, decides to end their existence. They become the legion to protect a young waitress who may be pregnant with Christ in his second coming.
