On July, 24, 2009 the animated comedy adventure, G-Force is released in USA. It is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer in Disney Digital 3D for Walt Disney Pictures.

This movie is the debut of Hoyt Yeatman as a director (although he’s not a newbie in the area of visual effects). The screenplay was written by Cormac and Marianne Wibberley. Yeatman and Bruckheimer worked on a number of projects earlier, such as Armageddon, The Rock, and Kangaroo Jack.

Actually this is the first Disney live action movie which is produced in Disney Digital 3D, and, naturally, it’s the first big-screen 3D film for Jerry Bruckheimer.

The whole plot of the film is focused around the animals which were trained by a special government agency to work in espionage. All of this guinea pigs are equipped with the latest high-tech equipment to make their spy job, and suddenly  they discover that it’s them who are to save the world.

And here they are: Speckles (Nicolas Cage), the information and computer genius, Juarez (Penelope Cruz), a sexy (as sexy as a guinea pig can be) professional in martial arts, Mooch (Edwin Louis) a flying reconnaissance expert, Blaster (Tracy Morgan), an extreme-loving expert in weapons, and Darwin (Sam Rockwell), who’s their the squad leader, and for whom defeat is not the choice.

According to the US government mission the team of smart guinea pigs has to stop evil billionaire Leonard Saber (Bill Nighy), who has developed evil household appliances and plans to to destroy the world. But that’s not the only obstacle they have to deal with. They are shut down and sentenced to a pet shop, and they have to escape from there to defeat the evil genius and ultimately save the world.

G-Force features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Pen?lope Cruz, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi, Jon Favreau and Tracy Morgan.
