On September 25, 2009 an American musical film, Fame, starring Asher Book, Paul McGill, Paul Iacono, Debbie Allen, Kelsey Grammar, is released in USA. Fame is written by Allison Burnett and directed by Kevin Tancharoen. The movie is a remake of the 1980 film of the same name.

Trying to reinvent the Award-winning 1980 film, creators of Fame followed a group of singers, actors, artists and dancers at the New York City High School of Performing Arts over four years. The High school is a real powerhouse where students with all kinds of talents are given a chance to make their dream a reality throught hard work and dedication and achieve real and long-desired fame.

Competition there is very tough, the level of doubt and self-doubt is high as well, and everyone should convince others that he deserves to be a star. Putting aside education they have to pass through everything what is a necessary attribute to any high school: schoolwork with mates, friendship, romance relationships, studying the inner self.

As a story about kids whose abilities transcend the shallow, 15-minute idea of celebrity, Fame explodes with dance and music and showcases a cast of real-life triple threats whose artistic abilities mirror the expertise of their characters.
