On October 9, 2009 a comedy film, Couples Retreat, starring Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Kristen Bell, Malin Akerman, is released in USA. Couples Retreat is written by Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, and Dana Fox, and directed by Peter Billingsley. The musical legend and winner of 2 Oscars at the 81st Academy Awards, A.R.Rahman, scores the music for Couples Retreat.

There are four couples. And one of those four couples has problems. A man and a woman have either to break their marriage or save it. They choose the latter and go on a vacation with their friends (the other three couples) to a tropical island resort.

This couple works on their marriage, while the others do not want to realize that they have no option other than participate in the marriage therapy sessions which are held at the resort, if they want to stay there.

Upon arriving at the island paradise to enjoy some carefree fun in the sun, the other couples are disturbed to discover that participation in therapy sessions is mandatory if they hope to remain at the resort.
