On July, 31, 2009 the feature film, Aliens in the Attic (previously known as They Came from Upstairs), starring Ashley Tisdale, Henri Young, Robert Hoffman, Regan Young, Carter Jenkins, and Austin Butler is released in US theatres.

The filming of the Aliens in the Attic began at the end of January 2008 in Auckland, New Zealand by the production company New Upstairs Productions. It was said that the filming would last from January 28 to April 18, 2008. The main shooting was finished in mid-March 2008. Last-minutes scenes for the film ware shot on April 2009. The film was set in an old villa which was transported from Remuera to a North-Auckland farm. The main set was an old manor which they spent $700,000 to restore.

The Pearson family (Ashley Tisdale, Carter Jenkins, Kevin Nealon) think they have got the excellent family vacation as they go to their vacation home in Michigan. But soon after arriving to that house, they find out that there are other living beings there and they are not the only people staying in it since a friendly alien has found the Michigan house first. Though this alien is friendly, his brothers and friends are not, and they all are about to invade the house. The kids (Regan Young and Henri Young) have to gear up and defend their vacation house with everything they have or else the aliens will probe them out to space and destroy the world.
