On August 7, 2009 a thriller film, A Perfect Getaway, starring Milla Jovovich, Chris Hemsworth, Timothy Olyphant, Kiele Sanchez, Marley Shelton and Steve Zahn is released in the US (limited release). Advance screenings in the UK is scheduled for August 12th, 2009, and the wide release in United States is going to be on August 14th. A Perfect Getaway is directed by David Twohy and was shot in Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

The film’s plot is focused around two couples of lovers, Nick (Timothy Olyphant) and Gina (Kiele Sanchez) and Cliff (Steve Zahn) and Cydney (Milla Jovovich), who goes to one of Hawaii islands to discover that their tour guides are psychopaths-assassins.

A young couple of Cydney and Cliff are fond of adventures and that’s why they celebrate their honeymoon by backpacking to one of the most magnifiscent and  beaches in Hawaii. They think it’s a paradise, as they hike the wild. But then the couple come across a group of other hikers who are very afraid and discuss a recent terrible murder of a newlywed pair who came to the islands for the same reason like Cliff and Cydney.

And that was the time when they began to think whether they should stay or flee away. They join two other couples and things begin to go very, very wrong. When civilization is not reachable and rescue is hardly possible, everyone around becomes a threat and there’s nobody you can trust. That is a perfect recipe on how a paradise transforms into pure hell. The brutal game for survival starts.
